Getting Started
Everything you need to know about becoming a patient and scheduling your first appointment.
Our Philosophy: The Captain and the Navigator
We believe that the doctor-patient relationship should operate as a team, with each member having specific roles.
The patient’s role is that of the Captain; The Captain is responsible for deciding the destination (your health goals), choosing the route (the treatment options that resonate with you), and if we need to make a pit stop (take a break from treatment).
The doctor/provider’s role is to be the Navigator; It is our responsibility to tell you all the different routes you can take to reach your destination, identify obstacles, keep everyone aboard safe, and provide educational resources.
Ultimately, we value shared decision-making and will work together to make an individualized treatment plan. We aim to provide clear and transparent communication to guide you at each step to make an informed decision that’s best for you and your family.
Schedule an Appointment
Scheduling/Cancellations:
Please call the office when you are ready to schedule your initial appointment. If you don’t know which provider you would like to see, our team is happy to help find a great fit for you.
We also offer complimentary 15-minute phone consultations with a Provider so you can see if they are the right fit for you. Putting a credit card on file is required to book your first naturopathic appointment.
Illuminating your path to health begins here.
We’d like to invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to discuss individual needs and how we can support your journey.
Before Your First Visit
Everything You Need To Know
Once you book your first appointment.
You will receive a confirmation email that contains a link for a digital New Patient Intake Form and access to your Patient Portal. It is required that you fill out the New Patient Intake Form and complete your profile on our Patient Portal before your initial visit. If you have any documents that you would like your Provider to review before your appointment, please contact our office.
Your doctor will email you a link for the video call a few minutes before the visit.
Your doctor will email you a link for the video call a few minutes before the visit.
Your login information is the same as your Patient Portal. During the video call, we will do a detailed intake to address any health concerns. Your doctor will discuss all possible factors to your health, including symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and mental/emotional stressors. This appointment is all about gathering information and determining a plan. Your provider can review past lab work to help determine if additional testing is recommended. Next, the doctor will explain their treatment options, including lab work, nutrition or lifestyle changes, supplement or medication recommendations, and/or referrals. Once all options are reviewed, you and your doctor will plan how to move forward to achieve your health goals.
Please note this visit is 75 minutes long, which we do as a way to ensure we have sufficient time to cover everything.
The first follow-up visit will likely be going over lab work and any changes recommended at the last visit.
The doctor will go over all lab work thoroughly and answer any questions. We will then will create a comprehensive treatment plan. This visit is usually 30-45 minutes long.
Subsequent visits will be recommended on an individual basis.
It is common to have visits every 4-6 weeks until the concern is resolved. These visits range from 15-45 minutes long.
